It takes a few minutes. Choose the occasion, pick the date and the place, add the name and a personal message, and review the details that will be written on it before you pay. Once the payment is complete, your finished certificate is created and arrives by email.

Your digital certificate and detailed weather report are delivered by email within 10 minutes of a successful order. If it has not arrived, please check your spam or junk folder first, then write to us through our contact form.

Yes. Every certificate is based on archived historical weather data for the day and place you choose, taken from a trusted, reliable source. It is a commemorative keepsake rather than an official meteorological document, and small differences from a local weather station are possible.

Yes. You can contact us within 30 days of your purchase to ask for a correction, a replacement or a refund. Please see our Refund Policy for the details.

You can choose any date from 1 January 1940 onwards, and any city or town in the world. Type the name of the place and pick it from the suggestions, so the certificate uses the right location.

Weather archives trail real time by a few days, so the most recent dates may not be available yet. If a date is not available, the order form tells you before you pay, and you can simply choose another day or come back a little later.

Yes. Before you pay, you can review the details that will be written on your certificate: the date, the place, the names and the message. The finished certificate itself is created and shown only after your payment is complete, so please check the details carefully. Reviewing them is free.

It shows the recipient's name, the occasion, the date and the place, the day's weather conditions, the highest, lowest and average temperature, the rainfall or snowfall, the wind, the sunrise and the sunset, your personal message and a unique certificate number with a QR code.

You receive your certificate by email as a high-quality PDF, made for print. It is laid out on A4 paper, and its text and graphics stay crisp and sharp at any size, so it prints beautifully at home or at a print shop. It also opens on any device, and the button in your email opens the certificate directly.

Yes. You can add a personal dedication of up to 300 characters, and it is printed on the certificate. The message is optional. If you are not sure what to write, press "Write for me" and we suggest a message written for your occasion.

Of course. The suggested messages are only a starting point. After pressing "Write for me" you can edit the text, or you can write your own from scratch, as long as it stays within 300 characters.

Birthdays, births and adoptions, weddings and engagements, anniversaries, the day you met, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, graduations, Christmas and holidays, memorials and remembrance, and personal milestones. Each occasion has its own certificate wording and design. Do you have a suggestion for another special day? Write to us through our contact form, and we will be glad to consider it.

Yes. The occasions are only a guide to the wording and design. Choose "Personal milestone" for anything that does not fit elsewhere, such as the day you moved home, started a new job or simply a day you never want to forget.

Yes, and it is one of our most popular gifts. Choose the Birthday or the Birth or Adoption occasion, enter the date of birth and the town where it happened, and the certificate records the weather of that day.

Yes. Choose the Wedding or Engagement occasion, or Anniversary, then enter the date and the place of the ceremony or the celebration. You can add both names and a message of your own.

Yes. The Memorial and Remembrance occasion is written with care and gentle wording. Choose the date that matters, whether it is a birthday, a farewell or a day you shared, and add a few words of your own.

Absolutely. It is designed as a thoughtful, personal gift for birthdays, anniversaries, weddings and many other milestones, and it is a gift that can be given at the last minute, because it arrives by email within minutes.

Yes. On the order form, choose that the certificate is a gift, enter the recipient's name and your own name, and the certificate is made for them. You can decide whether it is sent to you or directly to the recipient.

Yes. Enter the recipient's email address and choose to email it directly to them. They receive the certificate together with your gift message, and your email address is not shown to them.

Yes. Choose "Schedule delivery" and select the date and time, for example the morning of a birthday or an anniversary. Your gift stays waiting and is sent at exactly that moment. If your plans change, contact us and we will stop the scheduled delivery.

Yes, if you want them to. The "from" name you enter is shown with your gift message. Your email address is never shown to the recipient.

Yes. Choose that the certificate is for you and it is sent to your own email address, ready to keep, frame or share.

Yes. Each certificate is a separate order with its own date, place and message, so you can create as many as you like, for example one for each member of the family.

The current price is always shown on the order form before you pay, and there are no hidden fees. Checking your details before you pay is free.

You can pay by credit or debit card, including Visa, Mastercard and American Express, or with Apple Pay where it is available on your device. Payments are processed securely by our payment provider.

Yes. Payments are handled by a trusted, secure payment provider. We never see or store your card details on our website.

Our prices are set in US dollars. You do not need a US dollar account or card to pay: our payment provider charges the amount in the currency of your card, using the current exchange rate, and your bank's own currency conversion policy applies. The exact amount charged to your card may therefore differ slightly, depending on the rate and on your bank.

From time to time we offer promo codes. If you have one, enter it on the order form and the new price is shown immediately, before you pay.

Yes. After your payment you receive an order confirmation by email, with your order number and the details of your purchase. Keep it, as it also helps us if you ever need support.

Please check your card details and your bank's limits, then try again. If the payment keeps failing, try another card or payment method. If you were charged but did not receive your certificate, contact us with your order details and we will sort it out.

First check your spam or junk folder, and make sure you entered the email address correctly. If it is still not there after 10 minutes, write to us through our contact form with your order number and we will resend it or help you right away.

Please contact us as soon as possible through our contact form with your order number and the correction. If a detail was entered incorrectly, we will make reasonable efforts to provide a corrected certificate. Please check the details carefully before you pay.

Yes. You can ask for a correction, a replacement or a refund within 30 days of your purchase. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Please write to us through our contact form with your order email address and order number, and never include card details.

The certificate is a standard PDF, which opens on any phone or computer with a PDF viewer. If it still does not open, write to us through our contact form and we will send you a new file.

Yes. The email we send you contains a button that opens your certificate PDF, so you can download it again whenever you like. Keep the email, or contact us with your order number.

Every certificate has its own unique number, printed on the certificate and carried by its QR code. It is how a certificate is recognised as genuine, and it is the number you quote when you contact us.

Open the Check your certificate page and enter the certificate number, or scan the QR code printed on the certificate. If the certificate exists in our registry, it is confirmed.

No. It is a commemorative keepsake, not an official meteorological, legal or insurance document, and it should not be used as one.

The weather comes from a trusted, reliable source of historical weather data, built from national weather services and satellite and station observations, and available from 1940. Values are calculated for the area around your chosen place.

Weather archives describe the day as a whole for a small area, while your memory may be of a particular hour or a particular street. Small differences between stations, datasets and locations are natural, so please treat the certificate as a faithful record of the day rather than of a single moment.

Where the data allows it, a certificate can show how much warmer the climate around that place has become since your date. It is an extra detail meant to add perspective, and it is left out when the data is not available.

We are preparing a printed edition. If you would like to be told as soon as it is available, leave your email address in the printed edition sign-up on our website and we will let you know. In the meantime, you can print your digital certificate yourself.

Yes. Your certificate is a high-quality PDF made for print, laid out on A4 paper and sharp at any size. For the best result, print it at actual size (100%, without "fit to page") on good quality paper, then frame it or give it as it is.

Of course. Many of our customers share their certificates with family and friends. The certificate is made for personal gifting, sharing and display, but it may not be copied, resold or used commercially.

The certificate is made for personal use. If you would like to offer Weather Gift certificates to your customers, your team or your guests, please contact us about corporate partnerships.

We use your date, place, names, message and email address only to create and deliver your certificate, to process your order and to answer your questions. We never sell your personal information and we never use dedication messages for advertising. Please read our Privacy Policy.
